SLOPE BEING REHAB BY DBKL

DBKL is doing a slope rehabilitation at the front of our Taman shop houses.

At least 3 hill slope slides can be seen at hill behind the shops at our Taman. 

With a drone flew by Randolf, our resident,  some photos were taken  from the air.

Our Jalan 5/98 slope is currently being repaired.

Due to heavy rain in December 2021, the water drainage drain collapsed and our slope was affected. 

Remedial action is being taken.

RESIDENTS, DO NOT PLACE YOUR RUBBISH HERE

With the Chinese New Year next week, residents will clean their houses and throw out unwanted items and rubbish. 

The increased rubbish have been dumped here instead of their front houses. 

This has caused our Taman to look rather unhygienic and unsightly. 

We want residents to co-operate with our residents association to dispose your rubbish responsibility. 

LANDSLIDE BEING REPAIRED

Due to recent heavy rain in December 2021, the rain water drainage at end of Jalan 5/98 collapsed and caused a minor land slide. 

TSRA reported this problem to DBKL. 

In end January 2022, sheet piles were piled into the affected slope. 

Today, filling up works are being carried out.

PROTEST AGAINST NEW PROJECTS

This coming Sunday at 11.00am, residents of housing estates within our Taman will hold a peaceful protest against proposed new development projects by private developers.

We protest because new development projects will result in congestions and create high density within our Taman.

Our green lung will be affected.

Residents are requested to come and join in this Sunday's protest. All are reminded to wear your masks.

We look forward to seeing you tomorrow morning at Jalan Jintan Manis.

👆🏻Our MP Tan Kok Wai is organising this protest to help us object to the 3 high density development projects around (your taman's name). 

There will be reporters coming and our protest will be in the newspaper on the following day.  

Representatives of the 10 RA will be attending an engagement meeting with DBKL on next Wednesday, where the news on the newspaper will help emphasise our voices and stance. 

Therefore, please attend the protest as much as you can. We will all strictly following the SOP - wear masks, social distancing. 

我们的国会议员陈国伟先生举办以上聚会来协助我们抗议3个环绕着 ( your taman's name)  的高密度发展计划。这些计划将会严重影响我们的居住环境。到时后会有报社记者过来，隔天会上报。再过2天我们10个居民协会代表会出席DBKL 会议。 报纸上的抗议会加强我们反对发展的声音和立场。所以希望大家踊跃出席抗议, 同时也严格遵守SOP。
