DBKL has recently sent an official letter to the five residents' associations about their decision of rejecting the proposed high rise development and bungalows within our Taman slope area.
After a few months of silence from DBKL, it was good news to all residents and TSRA for protesting against this type of development.
If the proposed development had been approved, the quality of living within our Taman will be directly affected.
Construction noise, dust pollution and constant movement of lorries will destroy the current serene environment of our Taman.
These factors will caused serious depreciation of property prices of houses in our Taman.
Though our residents association and residents have managed to convince DBKL to reject the development, we residents must not rest our laurels. We should remain resilient and alert to prevent any companies trying to revive such projects in the future.
