YEAR END GIFT TO CHERAS RESIDENTS

Please to inform Cheras residents that the newly completed elevated U-turn from Cheras to MRR 2 highway is now opened.

Traffic from the South of Cheras and Kajang can use this new U-turn to MRR2 to Gombak and Kuantan.

By doing so, they need not use the round about to turn right via the traffic lights.

This can reduce traffic at the round about.

JALAN JINTAN MANIS BRIGHTER NOW

At the request of TSRA Management Committee, DBKL has changed the sodium street lights to energy savings LED lights.

These LED lights are brighter than the old sodium lights plus energy efficient.

Maybe, the old street lights around our Taman can also be changed to LED lights.

Also, we hope TNB will replaced the exposed electrical incoming 3 phase wiring to insulated 3 phase wiring.

Exposed wires will trip if tree branches touch the exposed wires.

OUTGOING BOOMGATE INSTALLED

To prevent outgoing vehicles to exit our Taman without verification, your TSRA has a new BOOMGATE installed today. The earlier one was damaged by a drunkard driver.

Now, outgoing vehicles will only be let out after being verified by our security guard. It is important to have this gate working as it can prevent motorbike thieves from leaving our Taman without punitive action.

In the future, when we implement the drive through access system, vehicles without an access card cannot enter or leave our Taman.

Defaulter residents will also not allowed in. They have to sign in or ensure up to date payment before their access card are issued.

CHANGING OF THE GUARDS

A new security company has taken over the overall security of our Taman on 1st. December 2017.

Hopefully, the new company will be able to enhance the security around our Taman in months ahead.

We like to appeal to residents and visitors to give their fullest co-operation to the new guards in maintaining the peace and crime free environment within our Taman.

BOOM GATE TO BE REPAIRED

After the outgoing boomgate was damaged recently by a drunkard driver, it is being repaired.

Currently, the incoming boom gate is still usable. Visitors are being monitored.

DRUNKEN DRIVER DAMAGED OUR SECURITY POST

On Wednesday of this week, a drunk driver drove into our security post.

Our boom gates and booth were damaged.

Our TSRA has reported this accident to the Police.

A claim will be made against the driver.
