TSRA NEW YEAR 2020 GOTONG ROYONG ON 4TH JANUARY 2020

Our annual TSRA Gotong Royong will be held on 4th. January 2020, Saturday from 8.30am to noon

All residents including teenagers are invited to join in this community project to clean up our Taman.

A major area of concern is the main drain at the end of Jalan 5/98 which has been blocked for years. Drain water cannot flow off thus causing water to clog up the drain. With the threat of dengue, this drain must be unclogged as soon as possible by DBKL.

It seems DBKL had to do some works at the rear and had put a pipe in the drain before it was filled up with earth. However, after works had been done, they did not clear up the drain.

Hope during our Gotong Royong, DBKL workers can clear the drain.

DO NOT DISPOSE GARDEN WASTE AND RUBBISH INTO OUR TAMAN OPEN DRAIN

In order to keep our Taman open drains against clogging, residents are requested NOT to throw rubbish especially garden wastes such as leaves, cut branches into our open drains around our Taman.

The rubbish can clog up the drains and prevent water flow during the rainy season. Water clogged drains allow mosquitoes to breed and causes dengue.

These garden wastes must be put into plastic bags so they can be collected by our contractor.

We hope this action can be taken in the New Year 2020.

Our best wishes for Tung, Xmas and Happy New Year 2020.

A WELL MAINTAINED DRAIN

It is important to keep our open drain unclogged so that rainwater can flow freely.

This photo shows a well maintained drain.

DENGUE ALERT AT END OF JALAN 5/98

There is a clogged drain in front of the end house of Jalan 5/98.
Clogged drain at end of Jalan 5/98

From what I have seen, this drain has been clogged for months or even years. Earth has covered up the drain until grass has grown on the earth.

As it is the rainy season, water cannot flow out as its outlet has been blocked. Water is now seen on the drain.

Clogged drain with water will allow mosquitoes to breed. Dengue can be spread.

The house owner of this clogged drain must use your initiative to unclog the earth from the drain as soon as possible.

Your house is going to be affected if there is a dengue outbreak. Lives are at stake.

Pay some casual labour to dig out the earth.

RESIDENTS CAR ACCESS CARDS BEING DISTRIBUTED
